Lake Pedder, Tasmania, Australia

From the top of Red Knoll Lookout, at the end of Scotts Peak Road, Lake Pedder's splendid beauty is shrouded in a mist, which lies like a sea of soft fleece and increases sky. Generally, the mist will left quite suddenly, leaving behind gossamer shreds of clouds that lazily wait to be chased away by a playful breeze. Lake Pedder is at Strathgordon, 170 kilometres from Hobart.
